What is Turnitin?

Turnitin is an online plagiarism detection and prevention program which compares student work to a digital database of publications, papers, and websites.

How do I get Turnitin?

Turnitin is fully integrated into Moodle. From within Moodle, you can select Turnitin as an assignment type from the Add an activity drop down menu.

To get a Turnitin session to be used independent of Moodle, use the Application Request Form.

How can I learn more about Turnitin?

Visit the Turnitin Training Center website for quickstart guides, user manuals, and training videos. The Turnitin website also offers introductory online training, a searchable knowledge base and other support features.
